Cold Start Technology
Designed with energy efficiency in mind, Meir’s innovative Cold Start cartridge delivers cold water during the initial part of the handle rotation, helping prevent your hot water system from being activated when hot water isn't required.
The handle naturally rests in the full cold-water position, making it ideal for those quick, everyday uses where hot water isn't necessary. As the lever is pulled beyond the midpoint, hot water gradually begins to blend into the flow, allowing you to adjust the temperature with greater control.
A slight resistance point when increasing the flow acts as an intuitive reminder to consciously increase water usage, helping reduce unnecessary energy consumption from hot water that may never reach the tap.
