Peninsula Tiles & Stone
We want everyone to be able to browse, choose and buy from us — online and in our showroom.
Peninsula Tile and Stone Pty Ltd is committed to making peninsulatilesandstone.com.au accessible to as many people as possible, including people who are blind or have low vision, people who are Deaf or hard of hearing, people with limited mobility or dexterity, people with cognitive or learning differences, and people using assistive technology.
We treat accessibility as an ongoing obligation rather than a one-off project. We consider accessibility when we design new pages, when we add products, and when we choose the tools that power this site — and we take reports of problems seriously.
This commitment reflects our responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and the Australian Human Rights Commission’s World Wide Web Access: Disability Discrimination Act Advisory Notes.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the standard referenced by the Australian Human Rights Commission and adopted across Australian government and industry.
Status: partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means most of the site meets the standard, but some content does not yet fully conform. The areas we know about are listed in Known Limitations below, and we are actively working to close them.
This assessment is based on our own review of the site rather than an independent third-party audit. It was last reviewed on 1 August 2026.
Accessibility features built into this website include:
We would rather be honest about where the site falls short than claim a level of accessibility we have not reached. We are aware of the following:
Some scroll-triggered reveals still play even when your device requests reduced motion. We are working through the site to honour that setting everywhere.
Product names, descriptions and images come from our suppliers. Occasionally a description arrives with poor structure, or an image without a useful text alternative. We correct these as we find them — please tell us if you hit one.
Technical data sheets, warranty documents and supplier brochures are produced by third parties and may not be tagged for screen readers. Contact us and we will read out or supply the information in another format at no cost.
Embedded maps and social media content are provided by external services, and their accessibility is outside our control. Our address and contact details are always available as plain text alongside them.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us — see Feedback & Complaints.
This website is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on desktop and mobile, together with the assistive technology built into those platforms — including screen readers, screen magnification, browser zoom, voice control and keyboard-only navigation.
Older browsers, or browsers with JavaScript disabled, may not display parts of the site correctly. If you use an older setup and cannot access something you need, please contact us and we will help you directly.
Our showroom and trade counter are at Unit 10/8 Henry Wilson Dr, Capel Sound VIC 3939. If you have access requirements — parking close to the entrance, help moving through the displays, carrying samples to your car, a quieter time of day, or a companion or support worker joining you — please call us on 03 5910 0888 before you visit and we will make arrangements.
Assistance animals are welcome. Showroom hours are Mon–Fri 9am – 5pm and the trade counter opens Mon–Fri 6:30am – 4:30pm.
You never have to use this website to deal with us. If any part of it is difficult for you, our team can help you by phone, by email or in person — at no extra cost. We can:
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of peninsulatilesandstone.com.au. If you run into a barrier, please let us know what you were trying to do, the page you were on, and the browser or assistive technology you were using — that helps us reproduce and fix it quickly.
